Apprenticeship as Management Assistant for Office Management (m/f/d)

For the start of training on 01.09.2022, we are looking for you to train as an office management assistant (m/f/d).

Description

As an office management assistant (m/f/d), you will learn to organize, plan and carry out general office activities. For this purpose, you will pass through various commercial departments of the airport during your training, such as accounting, marketing, as well as sales and controlling. You will support our departments in the areas of office work, work on your own initial projects and present our company at national and international trade fairs.

You are fully integrated into the work processes and take on more and more tasks and responsibility, either independently or as part of a team. You will always work in a team with us and have a fixed contact person to clarify all questions.

Parallel to the practical training at the airport, you will acquire the corresponding theoretical knowledge at the vocational school.

Training course

Training as an office management assistant is based on the dual system. You will receive theoretical instruction at the vocational school in Rostock or Güstrow. You will be taught practical skills at Rostock-Laage Airport.

Exams

Halfway through the training, an intermediate examination is held to provide an indication of any gaps in training. At the end of the training, a written and practical final examination must be taken before the Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

About Us:

Since 01 January 2022, Rostock-Laage Airport has been a company of the Berlin Zeitfracht Group. Rostock Airport is the largest commercial airport in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Since 1993, the southern part of the airport has been used for civilian flights as part of a close civil-military cooperation with the German Armed Forces. The airport is ICAO certified for traffic in the general aviation and aviation segments and has a license for 24-hour operation. Thus, it is suitable for air freight, express cargo and logistics. The 2,800 m long runway enables traffic with wide-body aircraft. The airport is also a training site for pilot training. The geographical location on the Baltic Sea, only 35 minutes away, enables incoming Baltic Sea air travel and cruise feeder traffic. Rostock Airport therefore offers a special product tailored to cruise traffic. Scheduled and tourist traffic as well as cargo traffic are currently handled at the location.
