With almost 800 years of history, the Hanseatic city of Rostock is the oldest and largest university and port city in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. With its unique location on the water and the combination of a large city, an attractive seaside resort and the pristine natural area of the Rostock Heath, Rostock is one of the most beautiful vacation spots in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cityscape of the Hanseatic city is characterized by the traditional brick Gothic of the Hanseatic era. The city center, the old town, as well as the city harbor invite you to shop, enjoy, stroll and linger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

White sandy beach and rushing Baltic waves, on the other hand, can be found in Warnem\u00fcnde. Enjoy the view over the unique coastline from the lighthouse.
