Rostock-Laage Airport is designed to be barrier-free. The terminal, parking lots, sanitary facilities, elevators, catering facilities and stores are freely accessible.
Check-In
Please be at the check-in desk on time.
Check-in counter opening hours:
Scheduled flights: 90 minutes before departure
Vacation flights: 120 minutes before departure
Please note the individual closing times of the airlines. The check-in counters are located directly in the terminal entrance hall.
Passenger Service
You can reach us personally for all arrivals and departures of our scheduled and vacation flight connections.
Outside our operating hours, you can find out about other personal contacts under “Contacts”.
Gastronomy
You can relax and store in our stores and bars during your stay. Whether duty free store, terrace café or snack point – enjoy your time at Rostock Airport.
Luggage
Baggage and bulky baggage are 100% security checked. Since each airline has its own specific baggage regulations, please obtain information directly from your travel documents, from the respective airline or from the travel agency about free baggage allowances and regulations for hand luggage. Please register bulky and special baggage such as surfboards or bicycles with the travel agency or the airline. Strollers, bicycles and buggies must be properly packed for the flight. Please read the instructions on your flight ticket or ask your airline or travel agent. Please also note the information on security regarding luggage!
Internet
Go online wirelessly with your laptop. The airport is the location of a T-Mobile HotSpot, a fast Internet access via WLAN. You can access your e-mails and all information from the Internet, chat and surf just like at home on your PC. You have free WLAN in the terminal.

due to the current circumstances in connection with the Corona pandemic, our terminal and the adjacent visitor terrace are open for you at the following times:
Monday – Friday: 09:00 – 17:00
Saturday: closed
Sunday: 09:00 – 14:00 hrs
From 27.03.2022 the opening hours are:
Monday, Thursday, Friday 08:00 – 20:00 hrs
Tuesday, Wednesday 09:00 – 17:00 o’clock
Saturday, Sunday, holidays 10:00 – 18:00 o’clock
The airport Rostock-Laage is basically open to all scheduled scheduled – as well as charter flights and is 24h operational – without restrictions.
Shopping
In our stores and bars you can do some relaxed shopping during your stay. Whether duty free store, terrace café or snack point – enjoy your time at Rostock Airport.
Powerbanks
There are no uniform rules for transporting powerbanks on airplanes. However, IATA (International Air Transport Association) stipulates that powerbanks should have a maximum of 100 W and may only be transported in hand luggage. This is roughly equivalent to 27,000 mA. We assume no liability if other conditions exist or change in your destination country.

In the airport terminal you will find two travel agencies that will advise you on all aspects of travel and flights from Rostock-Laage.
Travel with animals
Would you like to travel with your pet? Here are some important tips from us: Basically, please inform yourself at your airline about the possibilities and prices of a pet transport. If you would like to fly with your pet, please register it with the airline in good time before your departure!

In the public area of the terminal, directly opposite the information desk, there is a modern service and survey terminal, which can be operated as a touch screen. You can use this terminal to get information about the airport, our destinations, the current weather and local conditions.
